The purpose of = this=20 organization is:

1.      =20 To meet others who share an interest in = horses.

2.      =20 To promote the interest of horses as a family=20 activity.

3.           = ;     =20 To provide = activities=20 for families and individuals to share.

4.           = ;     =20 To provide and = practice=20 trail stewardship through education and related=20 activities.

5.           = ;     =20 To address = public land=20 access issues which affect horse related = activities.

          = ;            =             &= nbsp;        =20 Article I - Name

The name of = the=20 organization shall be the Pendleton Area Saddle = Club.

          = ;            =             &= nbsp; =20 Article II - Membership

Section=20 1:    There is no age requirement for=20 membership.

Section=20 2:    Membership is open to any interested = party=20 willing to pay dues.

          = ;            =             &= nbsp;    =20 Article III - Officers

The officers = shall be=20 the President, a Vice President, a Secretary, and a = Treasurer. =20 Special interest group committee chairs and/or directors may be = appointed=20 at the discretion of the President.  The term of = office shall=20 be one year.

          = ;            =        =20 Article IV - Executive Committee

The Executive = Committee=20 (Board) shall consist of the officers identified in Article III=20 above.

          = ;            =             &= nbsp;    =20 Article V - Meetings

Section=20 1:    There will be at least two full = membership=20 meetings per year.

Section=20 2:    The Executive Committee shall meet = monthly or=20 as called.

Section=20 3:    The time and the place of the meetings = shall=20 be set by the President and/or the Executive = Committee.

This = constitution may be=20 amended at a full membership meeting.  Proposed = amendments=20 will be voted on and passed with a three-fourths vote of those=20 voting.  Amendments so passed will become effective=20 immediately.
