Club

Purpose
Section 1: Pendleton Area Saddle Club has
been formed
as a fun, family-oriented club. Members
are asked to project a positive and responsible image at Club functions
and
activities. The Club retains the right
to dismiss members or guests from Club activities/functions upon
displaying
behavior not in keeping with the philosophy of the Club.
Section 2: The Club may, by its officers,
review
proposed legislation and/or other proposals affecting the interests of
the
Club, and make such official statements, recommendations, and other
position
statements as deemed appropriate by the Board to further the said
interests of
the Club.
Membership
Section 3: Anyone
wishing to become a member may do so by payment of Club dues.
Section 4: Yearly
dues shall be paid as follows: Family
Membership - $25
Single
Membership - $15
Section 5: Dues
shall be payable to the Treasurer by
March 1. Nonpayment will result in the
member's
name being dropped from roll.
Section 6: Membership
fees are based on a calendar year.
Members will be required to pay full membership fees regardless
of the
time of entry into the Club.
Section 7: Certain
Club functions may require an additional fee for participation.
Section 8: New
members will complete a waiver of liability form and an information
sheet to
inform the Club of their particular interests.
Section 9: Members
may have guests at Club functions for a fee as set by the Executive
Committee.
Executive Committee
Section 10: The function of the Executive Committee
is two-fold: (1) to discuss activity ideas
and to shape those
ideas into plans for presentation to the Club membership and (2) to see
that
the will of the Club is carried out.
Committees
(Interest Areas)
Section 11: Committees shall be formed to represent
different interests of Club members.
Section 12: Committee representatives shall meet
with the
Executive Committee to discuss plans for Club functions and/or the
interest
group which he/she represents.
